Introduction

Experience Design Leader.
Making complicated things simple.

I'm an experience design leader with 20+ years of turning complicated problems into simple, human experiences. I work across strategy, UX, design, copy, and creative direction, on screens, in spaces, and everywhere in between.

At R/GA I designed Verizon's retail digital across 1,000+ stores and built digital-to-physical experiences for American Eagle and Nokia. At Digitas I helped start the experience design group and grow it into a national practice, leading work for American Express, Taco Bell, Teladoc, JennAir, and Walmart. Today I lead experience design at Notorious111, the brand and digital agency I helped build, for clients like the Baltimore Orioles, Engel & Völkers, Kawasaki, and Monumental Sports.

Along the way I've also partnered with CVS Health, BlackRock, Comcast, Delta Air Lines, Visa, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oréal, Mondelez International, Eli Lilly, and Dollar General.

I build teams, practices, and the systems that let good work scale: design systems, accessibility standards, and the frameworks my agency still runs on, including an AI-assisted naming tool. I work shoulder to shoulder with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership, because the best experiences come from everyone owning them.

The work has earned two Cannes Lions Grand Prix, Clio, Effie, AIGA, Addy, and Webby wins, Best in Show at the Architectural Digest Design Show, and a U.S. design patent for a hotel booking engine I designed.

My bias is always toward the simplest answer. Find where people are, find what's in their way, and remove it.
